Hebrews – A Promise He makes, is a Promise He keeps

We read and apply God's promises to the context of our lives, we do that with the assurance that God is faithful to keep his promises. We can boldly hold onto God's promises with faith and the assurance that He will keep His promises.

How do we know that God is faithful in His promises:-

1. The example of God's promise to Abraham
   • God made a promise to Abraham
   • God confirmed His promise with an oath
2. Trusting in the Promises of Just God
   • Knowing that God is faithful to His promises gives us "strong consolation"
   • Our hope is in Christ Jesus
